For me, SEED is a place of community where we are all encouraged to look closely, explore possibilities and perspectives, and introduce ambiguity. I appreciate the time to examine the ideas, motives, and choices that make up our stories because it allows me the space to grow in the light of that reflection. I work to actively see new possibilities and perspectives. I see myself as an incessant learner; this being what makes me an effective teacher and courageous facilitator.

I live and work in Washington, DC.  I have been teaching for over 25 years in both public and private schools. I have participated in the Racial Equity Institute, the White Privilege Conference, and the Race Institute for Educators. I have been leading SEED groups since 2018.
