Announcing ReSEED: Revisit, Renew, Recharge
Happy New Year! We're excited to announce a new opportunity for previously trained SEED leaders. ReSEED: Revisit, Renew, Recharge will be a three-day gathering that will serve as an opportunity for SEED leaders to recharge at a time when our work in educational equity is as urgently needed as ever.
More specifically, we will be working on sharing and developing our facilitation skills both through session planning and through exercises modeling challenging situations during SEED seminars.
Date and time: Noon on June 22 to noon on June 24, 2015
Place: Chicago, Illinois
We also invite SEED folks to join us for the Ricky Byrdsong Race Against Hate on Sunday, June 21 with a community SEED gathering that evening for early arrivals and people who can't attend all three days. The cost for ReSEED will be $950/person which will include food and accommodations (two nights) but not travel costs.
If you are interested in applying to or receiving more information regarding ReSEED, please e-mail info@nationalseedproject.org to receive an application. We currently do not have scholarship funds available, but if you are interested in being notified if such funds do become available, please let us know.
Our hope is that this is the first of many ReSEED sessions to come. If this initial pilot does not work for you but you are interested in a future session, please let us know and we will keep you posted.
